Nikon 3100D and 5d are almost same functioned DSLR but have some varieties. Definitely Canon 7d is a newer version. Resolution of Canon 5d (21.1 MP CMOS ) is greater than that of 7d ( 18.1 MP CMOS ). Few things are ahead in Canon 7d than 5d. For example – continuous shooting capacity, auto focusing, view finding capability, wireless flash controlling, video sound, metering and on camera flash are more amazing in Canon 7d. Factors including sensor, sensitivity range, dimension and body are more preferable in Canon 5d. Shutter durability, LCD size and Live streaming are very similar in both cameras. But popularity in recent days is taken by Canon 7d because of its relatively lower affordable price.
